The author of Toss ena Beles (ጦስ እና በለስ), Mulugeta Makonnen, is an Economics and MBA graduate, a veteran of the US armed forces, a senior in financial management consulting, auditing and project management careers. He served on a US Navy Aircraft Carrier, a warship, a 'floating island'; and sailed the high seas, across the Pacific Ocean, the Indian Ocean, and the Persian Gulf.
