In Ms. Wolfe's fourth Children's book, 'Am I Your Pet?' six individual pets introduce themselves to the reader, in verse. This is a joyful romp into the minds and hearts of the furry, scaled or feathered friends that share our homes, our backyards and our lives. The book is beautifully complimented by artist Amruta Patil's colorful and charming illustrations. At the end of the book, little readers are asked a couple of questions and encouraged to imagine what kind of pet they would have liked to have been, had they been born an animal instead of a human! This is a good book for pre-school and beginning readers, and for animal lovers of all ages. 3
