This message is concerned with approaches to pupil engagement and learning that stem from connected and relevant use of Outdoor Adventurous learning interventions. First and foremost, this collection of essays is concerned with values, specifically encouraging prosocial and humanitarian values in learning. By enabling students to find a greater connection we allow them to embrace their learning and make valuable contributions to nature and community. Connecting classrooms with the purpose of a greater cause impels deeper learning - itself an education for the whole child. When, through collaborative effort, we realise the potential in others and the greater good when all-together, we are moved deeply. Insights occur that lights up the latent potential within ourselves. This is Awe in action.
