Der Autor geht auf die repräsentativen und psychologischen Aspekte von Schmuck, Färbung, Tätowierung und Körperdeformierung ein und beschreibt ästhetische Gesichtspunkte der Scheiderkunst. Selbst Verfechter der Reformkleidung, schließt der Autor mit einem Kapitel über die Reformbewegungen zum Thema Mode. Illustriert mit 135 Abbildungen.
