Con este trabajo finaliza mi proceso de enseñanza así como de aprendizaje dentro del máster en atención a la dependencia y la discapacidad en el ámbito sociosanitario.A través de mi experiencia profesional en una residencia de mayores así como de los medios de comunicación, familiares allegados que han vivido y viven la situación del COVID19 en nuestro panorama actual, he podido observar la repercusión que tiene y ha tenido en el sector de tercera edad y más en centros de atención residencial.Por lo tanto, este trabajo presenta un análisis de la intervención en centros de atención residencial en periodo de COVID19 que se estructura en tres apartados donde se plantean las siguientes temáticas: Envejecimiento de la población y situación de dependencia, proceso de institucionalización en centros de atención residencial, paradigma del COVD19 e impacto en centros de atención residencial.Como resultados se obtiene y analizan los distintos protocolos y líneas de actuación de diferentes organismos que muestran las actividades y medidas a realizar en centros de atención residencial.Finalmente, se realizarán una serie de conclusiones que darán sentido al estudio realizado.
