School Counseling and Counselor Intervention

School Counseling and Counselor Intervention provides students with a valuable collection of readings and case studies that help them develop the knowledge required to become effective school counselors. Dr. Owens earned her doctorate degree in counselor education from Michigan State University and her master’s degree in counseling from Central Michigan University. Her primary areas of research include school counseling, multicultural counseling, and equity in education.
