This book is a fictional novel about a family of assassins. A young girl named Jewel from the south decides to attend college upstate. She is faced with financial hardship as she struggles to find her way. She finds herself in an unforeseen tragedy that will forever change her life. The tragedy teaches her things about herself that she never otherwise would have known. Jewel meets Rellik El’Poep, the love of her life. Rellik and Jewel El’Poep are brought together by the tragic event where ultimately, they raise a family of assassins. The family struggles to keep their identity as assassins concealed but are constantly faced with adversities. They try to live their lives like an ordinary American family. The problem lies they aren’t sure what is considered ordinary they’ve only known life as assassins. They are constantly reminded that they are anything except ordinary. The family is a magnet for trouble, but as a family, they always seem to rise above their struggles.
